Tasnuva Tabassum Ratry

Tasnuva Tabassum Ratry has a Bachelor of Law degree from City, University of London, UK. She was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2018 by the Hon’ble Society of Lincoln’s Inn. She qualified as an Advocate in Bangladesh in 2021.

Prior to joining The Legal Circle (TLC), Tasnuva gained significant legal experience and worked in a reputed law firm for few years. She achieved the knowledge of dealing with corporate clients, drafting petitions, plaints, legal notices, opinions, and substantive legal research on issues of corporate law and on other academic and practical perspectives of civil and criminal laws. After completing her Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC), she also worked in a reputed immigration law firm in London as a legal trainee for her summer placement. As an undergraduate student, she had participated in debate and advocacy workshops and assisted in a few pro bono matters. She also has mooting experience, having participated in moot court competitions at City Law School.

Additionally, she is also working as a Lecturer of Law at North South University for the past four years. She holds substantial interests in human rights, employment law, tort, contract, family law and cybersecurity law.

Currently, Tasnuva is a corporate and commercial law practitioner who routinely assists the seniors at the firm with extensive legal research and other activities. She has attained considerable experience, and her legal practice includes contractual disputes, labour law matters, various company matters, preparing company due diligence reports, assisting and advising in setting up different companies and business organizations and advising and guiding foreign investment and NGOs. She holds substantial interests in litigation and has assisted her senior in a few cases.
